Chicken Paprikash
The MOST delicious Hungarian cuisine that I have tasted outside of Hungary, absolutely reminds me of the dishes my Hungarian grandmother cooked whilst I visited Budapest as a child in the 1960-1970's. I am so delighted for this restaurant being walking distance from the RiverWalk. The atmosphere dining in at Vernona Gourmet is authentic, the staff super kind and friendly as is the amazing Chef/Owner Nikoletta. Kudos to Nikoletta and her entire team for making each meal so scrumptious and pleasant. I highly recommend everyone dine at Vernona Gourmet plus the take away is an amazing option for next day deliciousness. Beautiful experience every time!

I was having a quick lunch with a friend as I volunteer next-door at Loving Hands thrift. I had no idea the place was so spacious and can accommodate both small and large groups. Next time I definitely want to try a dish that represents Hungary. I will definitely be back.
